THIS HOUSE.

January 16, 2018

This house.

This house with its creaking and whirring.

This house with its quirks and character.

This house that envelopes us in warmth through the depths of winter.

This house that whispers with a gentle breeze in summer.

This house that has witnessed late nights and very early mornings.

This house that has held our tears.

This house that billows with our laughter.

This house where memories are born and love thrives.

This house is a home.

MONTEREY

November 2, 2017

When we realized we wouldn't be able to have our amazing vacation in Napa that we had planned after the wedding we decided to make the most of our time in California and drive down the coast to Monterey. We found a cute little motel and spent the next few days exploring the town and venturing down to Big Sur and Carmel.

Monterey was so cute!

Drove down the coast to Big Sur and walked through a redwood forest

Tasty Mexican food and exploring Carmel

SF & WEDDING FESTIVITIES

November 1, 2017

Wow, talk about an interesting trip to California! I was so honored and excited when my friend Megan asked me to be in her wedding. When I found out she was getting married in Napa I immediately started planning out an epic vacation for A and I. For the entire week after the wedding we were going to be lounging in wine country, drifting over vineyards in a hot air balloon at sunrise, dining at delicious restaurants in the evenings and sampling ALL the wine.

Unfortunately all of that changed when the devastating wildfires began to ravage Napa county the week we were supposed to visit. My friend had to find a new wedding venue at the last minute and everyone's plans were literally up in smoke. Her and her husband handled the whole situation with such grace and calm. Fortunately all of our loved ones remained safe and out of harms way and the wedding went of without a hitch. Megan was a stunning bride and they threw one hell of a party! We were so happy to share in their love and celebrate with all of our friends.

We flew into San Francisco a few days early so we had some time to explore the city.

SF classics... Painted Ladies and Baker Beach

Mikkeller Bar for brews and brats

Haze from the fires

Breakfast at Tartine before our drive down Lombard Street

These pastries were so delicious

REUINTED!

We had a blast celebrating Megan and Jesse and catching up with old friends!

VERMONTING

July 24, 2017

Katie came to visit! Tacos were in order...

Camel's Hump- a beloved Vermont hike

Instead of an ice cream truck, Burlington has a veggie truck!

My beautiful friend and bride-to-be!

We had such a fun-filled Vermont weekend. One of my best friends came to visit and we ventured to the green mountain state. There we hiked Camel's Hump taking in the spectacular views, went to a cook out at a dear friend's place in Burlington and caught up with people we hadn't seen in a while, showered the bride to be with a tea party, and sampled so many tasty brews at the Vermont Brewers Festival.
